

The Community Development support and Expenditure (CDSE) Scheme is designed by the government to ensure that larger registered clubs in NSW contribute to front-line services in the local community. Under the legislation, Baulkham Hills Sports Club is required to invest 1.5% of total gaming revenue in community projects under two specific categories. The first category covers community welfare and social services, community development and community health services and employment assistance activities. The second category covers other community development and support services.
In the 2007/08 year, Baulkham Hills Sports Club contributed $210,155 to the local Hills community via the Community Development Support Expenditure Scheme. Some of the organisations that benefited included:

- National Seniors Australia
- Probus Club of Baulkham Hills
- The Oaktree Foundation
- Woodbury Autism Education and Research
- MS Society
- Local Sporting Clubs
